I lost my dog, what should I do?

Immediately

Go out to deliver some flyers with the type of dog and your phone number.
We suggest you offer a reward.
Give flyers to the garbage truck staff (everyone, not only the driver), to the person selling tamales, security guards, tyre shops, car repair shops. Everyone that is usally on the streets during the day.

After a few hours of losing your dog

Be sure to check the zone constantly and replace the posters in case they have been removed.
Notify each person you see on the streets.
Go visit vet clinics and dog grooming shops and show them the pictures.
Post it on local Facebook groups. In one image you should include: picture, place and date the dog was lost, contact number, what he was wearing, the color of the collar, etc. Don´t forget to update the ad as soon as you find your dog, there will probably be a lot of people looking for him and they will appreciate if you let them know that it´s no longer necessary.
Don´t forget about the importance of putting them an ID tag with an updated number, preferably a mobile number.
Be careful if someone asks for the reward in advance, make sure they really have your dog. Ask for a picture that proves that they have him.

DON´T RELY ON SOCIAL MEDIA TO FIND YOUR DOG. YOU NEED TO GO OUT AND LOOK FOR HIM, ALSO TO PUT UP POSTERS LOCALLY.
